How to Use This Calculator

How Board Feet Are Calculated
Board_Feet = (Thickness_in x Width_in x Length_ft) / 12
One board foot equals a piece of wood 1 inch thick, 12 inches wide, and 1 foot long (144 cubic inches). This is the standard measurement used by sawmills, lumber yards, and the construction industry for pricing and ordering.
